The same I played with before. Currently we all "must" do song-writing at college, so it might be helpful to write some new material with some of my ideas using 12 blues I-IV-V chord progression.

^^Good luck with the Gig and writing is hard, it's not the stuff floating around in your head...it's putting it on paper that is the difficult part.;)

But I tell you what. It depends what type of stuff you write about. Sometimes you can write a song very quick. When we got to write a ballad, I did that in 15 minutes. Few things, that helped me: my own experience about what I've written, knowledge about ballads and Barclay James Harvest. As long as you know the technique and the way the lyrics should be written, it's easy. :grinthumb

Not wrong there. Not my favourite album but it is a complete classic of epic proportions. Wish You Were Here gets my preference though.
