My second favorite is Persistent of Time but yeah State of Euphoria is pretty killer too . I dig all the early one from Fist Full of Metal up to State. I also really dig Sound of White Noise a lot .
Anthrax is the underrated group out of the so called Big Four .
Agreed and I also think Anthrax out of all the 4 bands probably influenced crossover thrash the most. They had the sound on their thrashy albums that you'd hear on some crossover bands.

Sitting here in my kitchen in galway ireland .listening to some early 60s british groups. Just heard Gerry Marsden singing Ferry across the Merseyside,for me Gerry Marsden was the authentic voice of Liverpool.

Definitely. Scott Ian writes those punkish riffs. When he was with Stormtroopers of Death, he said he wrote the nastiest riff he ever will for March of the SOD.
