Maybe it's just me, but when I think of epic songs, I think of songs that run 6 or 7 minutes or perhaps longer.

When I think of epic I don't necessarily think of the length of the song, or of the solos, but what the song meant to me. I take into consideration the lyrics, musicianship, and originality of the riffs and loops.
