Sammy is a cool guy. Read his Autobiography "Red Rocker" and came away with a different admiration for him. The guy is amazing with not only being in several top notch bands, but also invented the first mountain bike and went on to come out with his own Tequila brand "Cabo". which he sold to SKYY for 70 million.
I've seen him in concert way back when I was 19.. It was at the Salt Palace with Aerosmith and Rick Derringer. I remember just seeing that big white smile and thinking man, that guy has some white teeth..
I even found out from his book that he grew up not far from me in Fontana California..
