I'm a latecomer to appreciate the music of the great Warren Zevon. What a talent he was; darkly comic, angry, raconteur, caustic wit, he was them all. A true-to-life artist in every sense.

I never ever listened to Warren Zevon although I had heard of his name anyway for many years I have listened on and off to the late Rick Derringer (American guitarist/producer/songwriter) and on a Rick Derringer live cd from Cleveland in 1978 Rick and his band do a song in the set called LAWYERS, GUNS & MONEY a really could rocker and I also believe that Rick did a studio version of the song as well and released it on one of Rick's studio albums in the late 1970s anyway it wasn't until about 3-years ago that I looked at the song a bit closer and saw that it wasn't a Rick Derringer song but a Warren Zevon song!.
