Velvett Fogg are a cult British psychedelic rock band. Tony Iommi was a member in mid-1968, but soon left to form Black Sabbath. Their lone eponymous album was released in January 1969, and re-released on CD by Sanctuary Records in 2002.

Their album is a classic and their version of Telstar is excellent.

Excellent late 60's psychedelic album. I highly recommend it, if you're into this type of music. Every song is enjoyable. I purchased this CD in 2002 when first re-released, after hearing ''Once Among the Trees'' on internet radio.

I don't know if I'll collect this CD or not,,,but I might Download a copy of the cover...:heheh:

Tommy Iommi jumps out at me though, that is enough to spark curiosity about this obscure band.

Thanks Sweaty and Groovy...:grinthumb

Good chill out Psychedelic rock..:cheers2..even if it is a bit self endulgement at times.
Hmmm.....makes you wonder if Iommi had kept with the band and introduced them to the classic "doom" riff:think:
