A lot of times I forget to send in my "Please Don't Send Me This" card and they send me it. Usually I just write "refused" on the front and they take it back. Well, THIS time it came back after I wrote "refused" on it twice
I figure that means I bought it.

I opened it up.
It was "Lost and Found in the 70's"

a various artists thingy of hits and semi/hits of people who were on Liberty records in the seventies.

It's good hearing "Frankenstein" and The Staples Singers again. On the other hand, my life was going pretty nicely without "The Air that I Breathe" and "Go All the Way" I had a friend who bet me money that the Raspberries would eventually be bigger than the Beatles. I figure he owes me money.

How about you?
Ever get stuck with a cd club selection?
How'd that work out for you?

I can wait.

I joined a CD club years ago and the deal was to buy 1 CD a month for 12 months. After that there was no obligation, so they said...
About 15 months after joining I decided not to buy a CD but they sent the "Featured Selection" anyway. I sent it back with a note saying I had not ordered the CD, I didn't see it again but they did try sending more in the months to follow. I wasn't very impressed so I cancelled my account.

I didn't really like it. I guess I wasn't alone because the record store where I usually did my trade in had dozens and dozens of copies and wouldn't buy it from me.

I gave it to my brother and he liked it very much.
he fell in love to a beautiful woman while listening to it and lived happily ever after.
so, I guess everything worked out okay.

It still cost me like 18 bucks!!!

I remember getting Minute By Minute by the Doobies.

I liked it but didn't pay for it.

They quit sending me things after that
