Thanks for all the welcomes, guys! Cheers!

Hello, Musikwala! Nice to see, that Classic Rock Forum's geography getting wider and wider. So many users from so much countries... :cheers2

Yeah! I see you're from Russia. We're definitely widening the membership base here! :grinthumb

How do you feel about Aerosmith? <<that's my fav band :D

They're alright though I haven't listened to their stuff in ages! I like Pump and Permanent Vacation, slightly more so the latter I think. And Get A Grip is a nostalgic favourite of my teen years. :)

Thank you! It's so great to see so many like-minded rock fans on one site. Before this, I was a longtime member of one of the main U2 forums out there. It was really fun for a handful of years but around 2008 or so, the demographic started changing. There were more and more younger people joining in and discussing unheard-of indie bands at the general music subforum over there. Classic bands were being forgotten and hardly getting talked about. Not that there's anything wrong with indie music but I started feeling out of place over there. The whole attitude also changed and people started behaving in an extremely cliquish exclusionary manner. Long story short, I pretty much stopped posting there but I'm happy to have found a site which at first glance seems more open-minded and vast when it comes to variety of bands to discuss. Hope it stays that way.

Yeah, I like to think we are pretty balanced here! I love new music but have a very high respect for the origins of music from all eras! What I like about this site from the beginning is that it has the ability to be all encompassing. Not everybody likes EVERYTHING here but we do have everything here because for the most part everyone here accepts each others taste! :grinthumb While we remember where certain genres are born we still get to appreciate what follows! :)
