My top 10 songs from Deep Purple, a band that is long overdue for induction into the rock & roll hall of fame....but due to so many lineups they can't decide who to honor! For me, Deep Purple is Mark 2 mostly, but I do consider Marks 3 and 4 because A.) Blackmore hung around for a while after Gillan departed and B.) I liked the David Coverdale/Glenn Hughes vocal tandem and C.) Tommy Bolin was a guitarist who could hold a candle to anybody, although his style was vastly different to Blackmore's.

So here are my 10, keeping in mind that "Made In Japan" is among the greatest live albums of all time:
