Danny Richmond (of Marc Almond Band and longtime drummer for Charles Mingus)

John Densmore (got to be the most underrated rock 'n' roll drummer of the 60s).

I love drummers! I played drums in my first band as a teenager.

Neil Peart (Rush - crazy good, and able to make it work with the music)
Ian Paice (Deep Purple - was just listening to Machine Head today, and blown away once again!)
Ginger Baker (Cream)
Ted Kirkpatrick (Tourniquet -seriously good. Youtube them. A dog's breakfast is amazing!)
Alan White (Yes)
Carl Palmer (ELP)
Keith Moon (The Who)
John Bonham (Led Zep)
Doug "Cosmo" Clifford (CCR)
Clive Burr (Iron Maiden)
