Tim Bachman from BTO is in serious trouble!

Tim Bachman, former BTO guitarist, has been arrested and charged with Sexual Assault.

The charges stem from a claim that a woman has come forward and stated that Bachman began assaulting her at age 11 and the assaults continued until she was age 14.

Bachman,age 58 and now a realestate agent, turned himself in to Abbotsford (British Columbia) police and will begin trial on July 5th. The official charges are
“sexual interference with a person under the age of 14, sexual assault and touching a young person for a sexual purpose.”

That is weird, Tim only played on the first two BTO albums, and maybe Brave Belt before that, and he left the band before Not Fragile to be with his wife and children life on the road was not his thing. Strange that it comes up all these decades later.

Oh well another scandal, they never end apparently.

I guess there must not be any time limit on these kind of allegations.

The first thing that went through my mind was, this woman had to be a groupie and probably a totally out of control kid, either that or a runaway.

The only thing that can ever be said in the case of criminal charges is that a person is innocent until and unless proven guilty in a court of law.
