:cheers2

I'm afraid I'm not the biggest Di'Anno fan, I still love the first two though.. just not as much as what came after.. :grinthumb

We're on the same page, I feel exactly the same way. Dickinson was made to be the frontman for Maiden, that's no disrespect for what Paul did in any way.

Saxon had a great run at the start of the NWOBHM storm. I like the debut but it was the next three I really remember stompin' too.

I'll be back with three from the later gear cos the band went on to write some pearler music.

^^Saxon is like RUSH such a massive discography you could put a few runs of three together. Got my Saxon in already.

Here are 3 more RUSH albums, Moving Pictures to me is one of the few "perfect" albums ever done, it will always be in my top 20 of all time.

Moving Pictures 1981

Signals 1982

Grace Under Pressure 1984

I realize "Exit Stage Left" was released after Moving Pictures...but I'm leaving it out and adding "Grace Under Pressure" instead. Hopefully the authorities in this thread don't mind.;)

38 Special had a nice run of 3 albums:

Foreigner. Their first 3 back-to-back albums were excellent, with "4" coming in that run, too.

^^I never liked Head Games that much, 4 was a much better album. Double Vision is my favorite of the 4 you posted.

Head Games is the weakest of the 4, but still a decent run of albums for the band.

Tom Petty & Heartbreakers had a decent streak of 3:

I'd post the Debut and leave Long After Dark for my 3 TP albums. I Almost bought a $50 double vinyl edition of "Damn..." this week, but I don't want all the bonus tracks I want the original record only.

I've noted your Saxon selection LG and of course it was down to you and our conversations that I really got my head into the later gear, anyway up ... here's my three from more recent years.
