The Cars had a pretty decent album streak from the get-go:

The Cars (1978)

Candy-O (1979)

Panorama (1980)

followed by Shake It Up...which is a decent album, too.

^^No problem Terry, I'm sure Old Ent doesn't mind.;)

I'll post some tomorrow, can't say I'm shocked by Someone in particular posting Aerosmith as their first choice.:D

^^^ Yeah no worries Terry, I look forward to yours LG. :grinthumb

Some great stuff cropping up from bands knocking out gear at full tilt. I was like Magic on my next three as it could easily have been four but I rate the debut as the best ever ... but that's just me. :D

KISS has had a couple of great 3-in-a-row runs (and I'll completely stay away from the great live albums):

ST/Debut (1974)
Hotter Than Hell (1974)
Dressed To Kill (1975)

Love Gun (1977)

Speaking of KISS, how about something that NO BAND had ever done before them and no band has ever done since?

Nevermind 3 in a row, how about 4 at the exact same time?! ;)

^^^ Actually Lynch Live albums would be a good extra addition I reckon. Deep Purple "Made In Japan" would have made it on my opener for sure.

Scorpions had one great run of consecutive albums in a row as well:

Lovedrive (1979)
Animal Magnastism (1980)
