VH1 GOES TO THE STONES THIS THANKSGIVING

This Thanksgiving, there are many things to be thankful for and one of them is the amazing music that The Rolling Stones have given us. Vh1 recognizes that and will show their gratitude by dedicated three days of programming to the band during Thanksgiving week. Among the programs set to air is the world television premiere of Shine A Light, the 2008 Martin Scorsese-documentary about the Stones’ 2006 shows at New York’s Beacon Theater. Check it out on the 26th at 9 PM Eastern and tune in for all the exciting Rolling Stones-themed shows starting on the 24th. Vh1.com has all the info.

I am not a huge Stones fan, but will most likely watch Shine A Light

Awesome news! Shine a Light is great! I remember VH1 had a Rolling Stones week when they released 'Voodoo Lounge'.
Anyway, It's a great time to be a Stones fan: Keith Richards Book, Ladies & Gentlemen the Rolling Stones DVD, & last week they released 1983's Let's Spend the Night Together concert movie from their '81/'82 tour.

I didn't know that they released "Let's Spend The Night Together" on DVD in the US,I have it but ordered it from South America.

I didn't either! I've been waiting for years & this past Saturday I walked into a Borders store & they had at least 10 of them on display so I was happy.

They're also re-releasing their entire catalog on vinyl, and touring next year. Yep, very good time to be a Stones fan.

I'll watch as much of that VH1 special as I can, for sure.
