I remember" Spoilt Bratt " Sox, saw them a few times in their short career.Chesterfields answer to Motley Crue, with a phoney American accent by the singer which made me grin. " Hello Chesterfeeeeld !!" I still have there demo cassette somewhere in the house....the guitarist Dave Holmes [ r.i.p] later played guitar for the exTYGERTAILZ vocalist Stevie Jaimz.
I do recall" ENGINE" Tray a fine band that had a great reputation around here....so I will also give a mention to an adopted band from the U.S STRONG HEART . These guys rocked our town !!!! big style...on a few occasions

yeah Lou I went to both festivals..got horribly rotted both times BUT had a hoot...highlight would be when Doc Neeson from the Angels climbed to the top of the lighting rig and got the whole crowd singing "Marseilles"....must say 83 was better than 84..but thats just a personal opinion

Lou Strongheart were brilliant I used to see them often at The Queens Park Hotel, Wilbur was a first rate guitar player. Spoilt Bratt ... Mmmm maybe not so good.
