As far as Hard copies going the way of the dinosaurs, it makes me sad to see what is happening to the music I grew up with. I want quality not a lossy download...

Me too LG I think its a sad state of affairs , when fans ask you if they can download one of your albums.....its just not the same.
I myself downloaded an album for the first time recently...an obscure gothic rock band from Poland....and it doesnt "feel" like Ive got it..if you know what I mean
THE REALM are one of the bands to be featured on a compilation album for release early next year on a Portuguese label PRAY SILENCE......on vinyl !!!!
[ now that would be a first ]. There is talk of us playing a festival next summer over there......GARY NUMAN being the headline artist [ but I wont believe it until the contract arrives !! ]

If you offered your new album in "FLAC" or "APE" that would be great, add the cover art and I can make a Perfect copy with covers and liner notes.

I have seen quite a few band home sites that do offer that option for old die-hards like us...I will not ever buy a lossy download off i-tunes again though.
