First track up on youtube of Gothic rock band THE REALM....featuring yours truly LOU/REALM on vocals. The track "Vampire eyes" is taken off the debut cd way back in 1998.A song we still are playing today.Hope you like it.....check out the guitar work of Robert Webley...

Great to see this playing on CRF, might I add that the vid is a current one (2010) correct me if Im wrong, cant we thank Rob for the Vid also Lou?

Agreed Rob Webley is an excellent guitarist with a most interesting guitar amongst other things (also member of the Magic Circle).

Vampire Eyes will always be special to me as I remember you singing it the first time I saw you play and thought - "I really like this" it didnt seem to be so long though on the night, maybe that was just me wishing that you sang more like it.

There have been some awesome tracks since this one too.

Heres a run down on the band CRF style

Formed late 97 by Lou/Realm [ex 13 CANDLES ]with guitarist/Illusionist Robert Webley [ex punk band W.o.r.m].Later joined by Katy Howson drums.

Shortly after the release of their debut self financed cd they were joined by fellow 13 CANDLES guitarist/songwriter Marc Hoyland. THE REALM over the years have had a few gigs and support slots with Theatre des vampires,Incubus Succubus,Nosferatu,Ikon,Malaise,N.F.D,Scary Bitches.....and even NWOBHM icons Witchfynde!!

Guitarist Rob has a few tricks up his sleeve ,like firebreathing,sword swallowing....knife through arm etc It has been a good gimmick for the band , which we interprete in THE REALM set. Cinder is right hes part of the magic circle...so even I dont know how its done !!
Line up wise Marc is currently living in Norway so when we play "live" the current line up now includes Nick [ 4 bands ] Hopkinson-bass and Hannah Wyld-backing vocals . Nick also plays bass for ex HAWKWIND member NIK TURNER
