[Soot and Stars]

is an alternative rock group that I found when I saw the cover and the sticker said it had a sound similar to other bands I like! I no longer know what bands those are because this band has a vibe unlike any of the other rock bands I own! This is youthful music for driving through the countryside! I can really relate to the small town lyrics and the energy behind the music makes we want to embrace it! The main vocalist is just awesome unlike a lot in this genre while the female and screamer adds some energy! They all mesh together great to me!

Their second c.d. is decent and the vocals are top notch but I think they lost the feel of the original in this one:

I've got the new self titled album ordered and I'm pretty excited!

Live stuff rarely transfers well on youtube vids but this will have to suffice for samples! The energy is definitely there and I'm expecting a more youthful fun album this time!
