What methods might be used, then? I too think that the next big thing will come out of the net... but I don't know.

i'm not entirely sure yet. my gut says it's going to be a musical shift in the same way that MTV changed everything back in the 80s. it's got less to do with the actual bands and a lot more to do with how the music is accessed by the masses. the only issue right now is that people are still approaching the net the same way they've approached every other medium of communication in the past.
