I have no idea how many of the forum folk have TCM channel, but at 1230 am (est) on Friday they are showing the seldom seen movie "Head". I live in the central time zone so it will be 1130 pm tonight for me.

I have HEAD on DVD and for anyone that has never seen it? I would suggest to at least see this film ONCE! It's pretty cool! :grinthumb

I have it set on my DVR. I've heard it was a major flop but I'll watch it anyway. I'll probably love it.

The 3 surviving Monkees, Micky Dolenz, Peter Tork and Michael Nesmith, announced today that they will be doing a 12 date tour in tribute to Davy Jones, who passed away in February. It will start November 8th in California and end December 2nd in New York. They'll be playing the Greek Theater in L.A. on November 10th. I'm so there.

^^That's a nice gesture, I'm sure Davey would be proud.

I was surprised yesterday that they have reissued quite a few Monkees records on vinyl again...I didn't buy any but I did think of MP right off when I flipped through them.

......^^ Thanks LG!! You should have grabbed one or two....yeah looks like they'll be coming to the Chicago Theater.

Very exciting and cool of Mike to do, but I wish he would have done a complete tour while Davy was still with us. :uh:

Their concert at The Greek is tonight. Yeah I'm going and I can't wait. The first show of the tour got a good review in "Rolling Stone" of all places.
