I had one of those suitcase record players as a kid. I have no recollection of what I played on it though. Probably some 45’s with those yellow clips. I still have most of my 45’s, so my guess would be “Sugar Sugar by the Archie’s” :cool:

I use to like watching the Monkees on the telly back in about 1966-68 here in the UK when I was a kid and I though they were ok and as for the song Last Train To Clarksville that song is still a pretty good song that I like to this day and about 5 or 6 years ago I read that the song was about an American soldier returning to fight in Vietnam I believe. Some other Monkee songs such as The Monkee theme song, I'm A Believer & Pleasant Valley Sunday were all ok as well.
