Jackson Colt.

Bio:
Jackson Colt is the pure essence of the 80’s reimagined, combining a retro-retake with a fresh modern sound that booms through the ages for all likes and tastes. Raised on Old School Rock, Jackson Colt got his first guitar at the age of 9 in a second-hand store, He starting learning to play songs by bands such as Creedence Clearwater Revival, The Who, Grand Funk Railroad and more. Jackson cites his family as his biggest influence on his Classic Rock influenced sound. Growing up with bands like Deep Purple, AC/DC, Def Leppard, Guns n’ Roses playing in the house, it was easy to see what music he would write.

When Glenn & Robin met in the mid-Eighties, they promised themselves to work together some day. The album started life as a solo Robin George record and developed into ‘Overcome’, complete with four songs co-written by the pair; ‘Number One’, ‘Sweet Revenge’, ‘Don’t Come Crying’, and the title track.
Such was the faith and strength in the new recordings that a major label deal was struck but fell through, leaving these recordings to languish in the vaults. Eventually some of these recording were released back in 2008 but sound quality wasn’t the best.
Now HNE / Cherry Red Records is finally releasing GLENN HUGHES and ROBIN GEORGE 1989 recording, properly remastered, under the title ”Overcome”. Glenn is on fine form on the album, and among the 13 tracks of melodic, and occasionally hard rock songs, one special treat is the track ‘Haunted’, essentially recorded by a reformed Trapeze, featuring Dave Holland, Mel Galley and Terry Rowley.
