In 2009, Tony McPhee suffered a stroke, so at the age of 67, he is probably retired(?)

I got this wrong. Tony is touring with Dave Anderson and his (Tony's) wife, Joanna Deacon, who is singing most of the lead vocals. You can't keep a good man down.

I've never heard of them, I was wondering though, since I saw all the attention they're getting lately.

I highly recommend the early 70's material. Great stuff , the first 2 from the late 60's are more Blues Rock but also awesome. Think they would be someone you would appreciate.

I would recommend 'Thank Christ For The Bomb', released in 1970 as a good opener if you've not listened to any of their stuff. Had a mate back then who had all their albums, and he turned me on to them. This one was the third - absolutely knocked me out.

@Vader So, I just listened to most of "Thank Christ for the Bomb". These guys are weird and off beat, but I like weird and off beat. I'll be listening to them more, but I like what I've heard so far.

Yeah, a bit out of the ordinary took me a little time to really appreciate but now I love everything I've heard by them.
