Seeing Randy Rhoads and Ozzy together about ten rows back on the Blizzard Of Oz tour.

I'm not so sure if this is a golden moment. I was in the third row from the stage in reserved seating at a CSN concert in Vancouver. Anyway, David Crosby was reminiscing about the 60's when a ruckus started behind me and one the security gaurds yelled at me, "Hey you, the big guy with the long blond hair," and pointing behind me. I turned around and a girl had passed out and I picked her up and the security gaurd eventually made his way over and I passed her to him.

Just as I finished doing that I turned my eyes back toward the stage and David Crosby was just glaring at me and gave me the finger. I was taken a back, holy smokes, why are you fingering me, I'm pretty sure must of been my facial expression.

I throw my hands up in the air suggesting to him, "what the hell did I do?" He then just shook his head. Unbelievable! Here I just helped out a girl in distress and this guy is so egocentric that the incident interrupted his story telling.

One of my buddies said to me after the show, "luckily he wasn't packing any heat.":lmao:

"Ya" I said, "imagine being somewhat famous for being shot by David Crosby.":heheh:

^^ Those kind of experiences don't happen everyday Joe and they certainly stick in the memory .. great story.

A classic golden moment must have been in the summer of 1966 when Chas Chandler watched amazed in the Cafe Wha? (New York) as Jimmi Hendrix blizted into Hey Joe ,, the rest is history.

I never knew Duane contributed to that song until recently. Incredible! :grinthumb

Speaking of epic drum moments... when Bonzo hammers out Moby Dick so long that the Zeppelin guys had time to go back to their hotel rooms before coming back for the rest of the concert. :heheh:

^ I always love a good drum solo. The megadeth concert I went to a couple years ago had a pretty great one as well. Probably lasted somewhere around 5 to 6 minutes. I can't remember it much, so that's just an estimation.
