NEW CULT SINGLE RELEASED:
The first single from The Cult's forthcoming album Choice of Weapon is out today
Vocalist Ian Astbury told Rolling Stone about the single: "'For the Animals' reflects the sentiment the we are a raw, visceral animal, independent and beholden to no one. We celebrate that aspect that is also rising in the culture. We go where nature takes us."

Pretty rough sounding but I liked it. I've always loved Ian as a singer and I'll be really interested it heard it in a more finished form.

I hope the new album is better than the last one. Sonic Temple is still their high point by a country mile (sorry I'm mixing my metaphors).
