Supposedly due to a disagreement between Rich and his brother Chris Robinson over a salary dispute? What a pathetic reason to call it a day. I refuse to believe that it's really over. They've been on hiatus before, they've had fights before, they'll probably be back together somewhere down the road. I certainly hope so, since I consider them one of the best bands of the 90s and 00s and one of my favourite bands overall! At least there's a lot of great Crowes related solo stuff (like Chris Robinson's Brotherhood, Rich Robinson, Marc Ford, Trigger Hippy etc) going on these days, which eases the pain.

Agreed. Sounds like the Davies' brothers disputes with The Kinks. (To a lesser degree) Brothers fight. That's what they do sometimes, lol.

The Everly Brothers reunited, the Davies boys are talking about reuniting, I'm sure the Robinson brothers will make music together again someday.

Huge Crowes fan and not surprised by this latest breakup. I have seen them live many times. They are absolutely kick ass live and I will keep my fingers crossed that sometime in the future the Robinson Bros. will forgive and forget and play some music.

This breakup really hurts because their last album "Before the Frost..Until the freeze" in 2009 may have been their best or definitely one of their best albums imo.

Seems like they're always breaking up and getting back together to me. First time I saw Petty they were on their reunion tour.

Hope they sort their shit out. Saw them 10 years ago just before they split up the first time. Amazing show.
