Strangely enough I'm a big fan of Metallica and Anthrax but not of Slayer and Megadeth. I do like some of Megadeth's stuff though Slayer makes me want to jump through my skin (outside of a couple of songs). Would replace Slayer and Megadeth with Overkill and Exodus.

Anyways Metallica get's my vote.

lol I'd go the other way. Toss Metallica and Anthrax out and put in Testament and Overkill. Exodus is pretty hardcore stuff there ,Hawk. Didn't know you rolled like that :D

Love Metallica, Slayer, and Megadeth. I like Anthrax. I'm a huge fan of Metallica and think that album wise they are the best just because of their first 5 albums. Megadeth would be second for me there because of KIMB, Peace Sells, and RIP, Slayer is third when it comes to albums. Reign in Blood is intense, but it only has 2 stand out songs IMO and the rest is filler. All together live and albums it would have to be Slayer for me. Nothing can compare to how intense they were and still are. Where Metallica and Megadeth have slowed down with intensity because of age, Slayer still ****ing kills.

Love all 3, but Slayer for me.

I don't think Megadeth have slowed down at all on their albums. Endgame to confirm that with some hard hitting songs. Metallica Ill judge that after I hear their new album next year.
Slayer did slow their pace down a fair bit with World Painted Blood, its a good thing too, can't expect thrash bands to just play the same fast shit all the time.

I like some of their music (Exodus) though like Overkill a lot more. I used to have the "The Ultimate Revenge" (Slayer, Venom, Exodus) on DVD though it got cracked and had to toss it out (maybe the universe was trying to tell me something :D).

Testament is a band I have to check out.

I know you're not a fan of later Metallica Wolf, though curious what you thought of "Death Magnetic"?

I like Death Magnetic actually. I had almost forgiven them for their long slew
of ( IMO ) sellout, crappy albums when they started acting like dorks again ..I AM THE TABLE ...:wtf:

:heheh:
