Then you'll love this man!!

Midway through a cool tribute to Ronnie Dio and then the Indian Head Dress comes on and all hell breaks loose!! :grinthumb

Dude, that shit just gave me goosebumps. I'm not kidding. Cool tune, then they switch over to Heaven and Hell and I'm thinking "This is cool", but the moment that Joey starts in on the vocals and the Ooooooh oh oh ooooh... the goosebumps went up immediately and I got a shiver down/up my spine.

"We Love you Ronnie!" headbang.gif

He did a good job mimic'ing Ronnie's voice too.

Megadeth are much better on the Rust in Peace dvd, they are better when they are not doing this Big Four stuff. I think when Megadeth are doing their own concerts its much better quality. I think the Big Four concept is way over done, maybe they should do this event once every 2 or 3 years.
Haven't heard Slayers or Anthrax sets on the Big Four dvd, hope it has none of the new songs.

Nice. They look like good set lists. I have a Slayer dvd that plays the whole Reign in Blood album too.

I think the Big 4 thing is INCREDIBLE! I mean you get the four biggest thrash metal bands of all-time together at one show... is there anything else like that? There have been some incredible bills but it's like unconscionable that the undisputed top 4 acts (even if we're merely talking sales) from ANY category would get together and tour!

Am I Evil is great and all but I really liked... who was it, Kerry King? Tom Araya maybe? Somebody from Slayer said they wanted everybody to get together and play Four Horseman instead. That would have been incredible! I can understand Metallica feeling weird about asking the guys to come up and play on one of their songs (it's sort of like saying Metallica's the best) but c'mon... Am I Evil is basically one of their songs in the first place. I'm not aware of any of the other bands having covered it until now.

The behind the scenes footage of them asking SLAYER to play was like....OK...uncomfortable!! :heheh:

They liked dogged them. Lombardo did go out and bang a snare drum with 'em.

If we're talking Live acts.... and I've seen all these bands live AT LEAST once ( most of them 3 times )..usual right on top of the stage or just a few feet back on the floor ..MEGADETH would get my vote there.

MEGADETH
SLAYER
ANTHRAX
METALLICA ...of course this was after they start putting out crap and James decided that he can "sing" :wtf:. They were not near as good as advertised at that stage IMO.

But I'd still go with TESTAMENT here as well :heheh:

and I agree Riff, OVERKILL owns..definitely in the running for the "Big 4" ,IMO.
But sells not quality is what always matters to most..just look at the Big 1.
Money over quality in the later years in that case w/o a doubt.
