The lands of Marshall Stack.
George passed on 18 years ago next week.
Had the pleasure of visiting his pad in the early 80's...i did shake hands and sip a lemonade!
The High Priestess of soul does a fine tribute here:
Nina Simone - Here Comes The Sun.

https://www.newspapers.com/clip/302457/haley-mills-explains-beatles/ If you want a good laugh you should check out this old newspaper clipping from 1964. It's British actress Hayley Mills, who was 17 and working in Hollywood at the time. She'd just finished the psychological drama, 'The Chalk Garden,'in which she played a rather nasty, sarcastic brat. Was she channeling that character when describing The Beatles, or is she naturally sly and nasty? I don't know, but I find it simultaneously infuriating and hilarious.

I went to the Buddy Holly garage about 4 stone ago... and listened for the crickets even.... fine version here.
The Beatles - Words Of Love.
And that album cover is burned into my mind as it was the one always at the front in my parents collection growing up. Then I got a record player of my own and pinched it. Always reminded me of autumn.
