There first album was an ok thrash album but the following albums were so so at best?.

Alex was a good thrash guitarist to start with then later on he started playing "jazz" wot da muthaf**k that was all about i do not know??. :wtf:

Alot of thrasher's rate this band for some reason??.

The first 3 to 4 Testament albums are considered thrash classics in my opinion. One of the best thrashers to not feature in the Big Four along with Overkill and Exodus. Obviously not everyone will like them but there is a reason people like these albums, they consider the first 3-4 albums thrash metal classics and so do I. The Legacy and The New Order particularly are amazing albums. :D

Haven't listened to these guys in a long time.

I only have two albums, New Order and Practice What You Preach. They both had heavy rotation as I recall. :heheh:

This new album has toppled Cannibal Corpse for my favourite album of 2012. Absolutely fantastic music on this. The melody, the heavier sections, the vocals, everything is amazing on this CD.

I think "Souls Of Black" suffers production wise and "Practice What You Preach" is not really very good at all to be honest. "Formation..." was a blast if the new one is anything like that I'll be making a purchase real soon.
