Re: Suicidal Tendencies

I love this band. Got 'Lights' on vinyl and a load of early stuff off my mate
on cd. They have a real individual sound I think, and this goes for Mad Mike's vocals too ....
.... and ... hey .... no one does angry quite like Mike ..... :buzz:

You can't bring him down .....

'Just cause you don't understand what's going on don't mean it don't make no sense
And just cause you don't like it, don't mean it ain't no good
And let me tell you something;

Before you go taking a walk in my world
You better take a look at the real world
Cause this ain't no Mister Roger's Neighborhood

Can you say "feel like shit"?
Yea maybe sometimes I do feel like shit
I ain't happy 'bout it, but I'd rather feel like shit than be full of shit!

And if I offended you, oh I'm sorry...
But maybe you need to be offended
But here's my apology and one more thing...**** you'!

Haha ..... when I first heard that, quite some time ago, I thought he was
saying .... 'poodles' on your front porch. :lmao:

..... I think mine is a better lyric tbh.

Great band!

Some trivia... Mike Muir is Jim Muir's younger brother. Jim was one of the original Z-boys and founded Dogtown Skateboards.

I love this band ! I've seen them live 3 times and have everything they have ever released from the debut up to Suicidal For Life. After that I think that they kind of took a nose dive ....still one my favorites

I would definitely consider this band a mix of thrash metal and punk. Great band too.

Some songs I liked on the album Join The Army
