Suicidal Tendencies Official Website

So hard to put a genre to these guys. crossover/punk/metal/hardcore. Their newest releases have a much more metal sound due to a line-up change, which in my opinion worked out better for the band as a whole

Studio Albums

Suicidal Tendencies (1983)
Join the Army (1987)
How Will I Laugh Tomorrow When I Can't Even Smile Today (1988)
Lights...Camera...Revolution! (1990)
The Art of Rebellion (1992)
Suicidal for Life (1994)
Freedumb (1999)
Free Your Soul and Save My Mind (2000)
No Mercy Fool!/The Suicidal Family (2010)
13 (2013)
World Gone Mad (2016)

Never heard of them before Stimulus,,,but Punk is not my field of expertise.

I'll embed the videos in your post and you can use the edit feature to see how it's done.

I got turned on to them after buying soundtrack from the movie Repo Man & loving "Institutionalized" in the 80's(there are so many great fun songs on that soundtrack!). I only have their debut album & 'Join the Army' & I do like those albums a lot.

Good band...been around A LONG time!! LG I would rank them as thrash and early hardcore..with a bit of Punk but not a whole punk band.

Mainly metal.

An early favorite.

They were sometimes tagged as skate punk. But the speed/thrash influences are big as well. Fantastic band. Their frontman Mike Muir is a real honest guy, got in some trouble because of his upfront opinions. Their best albums were: How Will I Laugh Tomorrow When I Can't Even Smile Today and Lights...Camera...Revolution.

Re: Suicidal Tendencies

I like most they've done, seen them live a couple of times too - very good band, imo. Their debut is absolutely classic.
