WILL THE KINKS EVER REUNITE?
Brought To You By VH1’s Dave Basner

For the past few years, there have been rumors that a Kinks reunion might happen, but the relationship between singer Ray Davies and guitarist Dave Davies has been pretty strained. Dave previously called his brother an “arsehole” but then hung out with Ray and seemed to warm to the idea of a reunion. Ray filled us in on the latest.

“I think my brother has many issues to deal with. He’s had his health problems. He still plays great. I’ve heard some stuff he’s played on. I always like to feel I could work with Dave again because he’s such a catalyst for my writing. I still like to think I can work with him. Maybe we’ll do something together one day when people stop asking us to do it, we’ll do something. He’s that contrary.”

In the meantime, you can hear some amazing versions Kinks songs on Ray’s latest album. It’s called See My Friends and features Ray performing newly arranged Kinks tracks with guests like Metallica, Bruce Springsteen, Jackson Browne and more. Learn about it at RayDavies.info.

^^You know, I don't care if they do or don't get together again.

They both seem a little screwed in the head, Ray who is a lecher by nature, and Dave well he just seems eccentric.:dunno:

I'm not chomping at the bit for it, but if it happens, I'm in. I saw them on their "One For the Road" tour. It was at the Forum in L.A. and they were great. I also saw Ray during his solo tour a couple of years back. I love this band and I'd certainly be interested if they did something together in the future.
