Soot and Stars
I AM SOOT!

Sponge was a band that had hits in the mid 90's and still has albums to this day. I loved them in the 90's! They had a great energy to them and a little bit of a punk element to them. Their debut will always be my favorite but there have been solid stuff from this since. I actually saw these guys live after their prime. They came to my college and oddly enough came on before Blessid Union of Souls. Now I love Blessid Union but what an odd mashup! Since it's my favorite I'll pick my favorite nostalgic tracks off of:
Rotting Pinata
Plowed
(I loved this single, my favorite, such a driving energetic song)
Molly (Sixteen Candles)
(the pop rock song most of us fans heard that got us into them)
These guys had a nice chill side as well:
Rainin'
(my favorite track, meditative grunge pop)
Drowning
I'll get more in depth with these guys but I'm hoping since this is a somewhat well known band that others will have more to add!
