I thought she did a nice job. I'm certainly not blown away by her but I have seen FAR worse "talent" on these types of shows. I agree with what Simon said, that she put herself into the song, rather than copying it.

I wish her well and hope she goes further. I also respect the fact that she did this without being placed their by her famous father. Good luck Sophie.

I watched the clip and I hate these shows sooo

But She is not bad, I do respect her for trying to NOT use her name ..but its impossible for her in the end not to be known. She DID do a reality show with her family ???

However, shes got a ok voice. Britney Spears and Demi Lavato ? Judges ? Ok this is silly from the get go..based on THEM , Sophie at least has as much talent as those two..pop boring and young enough to sell pimple cream..she'll be fine


That being said, Its par for the trivial nature of these shows ? Curiousity for a celebs kid..rating ..

I'd like to say the song she chose was NOT an Adele song ,its ORIGINALLY a Bob Dylan song..but for 90 % of the viewers I guess that point is useless ..

Now this guys blew Sophie all to Hell. I could actually see Freddie Combs making a Southern Gospel or Frank Sinatra style gospel album. One I might actually buy. I don't believe I would ever buy an album by Sophie.

Wow, that's another great one! These shows have plenty of talent whether you like the judges or the format, etc. Sure, ones like that one are gimmicky and if you are cynical you'll hate it just for that. I'm fine with seeing people from all walks off life overcome challenges and show their talents to the world. I guess I buy into that sugarcoated crap but I find things like that inspiring!
