and as much as i love the band america's debut album (that pickery is fantastic), i have never quite forgiven them for later penning 'muskrat love' and letting it loose on an unsuspecting world. captain and tenille were really just secondary messengers. (gotta give toni her props, though. incredible backup singing here and there, for me, most notably on the wall.)
i bought love will keep us together when it came out, and i am still the worst kinda sap for it. sniffle.
