I have a few of the earlier Pumpkins cds in my collection and have got to say there isn't much to choose between them.....but in the end went for "Gish" what a debut album !

Quite right Lou, what a debut, cannot believe we saw them all those years ago before they were famous, Billy had hair!!!!

I'm a bit surprised that Gish has more votes at the moment than Siamese Dream.

Gish is the best album imo, all the early stuff was genius..

Oceania was a pretty decent release too by its own right. Nothing though I have heard of Pumpkins tops that gem of a double album though. Everything on each disc flows perfectly. A rare 10 out of 10 score for me.

In the end I voted for Mellon Collie - so many of my favourite Pumpkin's songs on the album and they bring back happy memories of good times
