SEAWEED
Seaweed is a punk/grunge band from Tacoma, Washington. They were highly active in the 90's. Seaweed's contemporaries during their most active period included Mudhoney, Samiam, Jawbreaker and tourmates Superchunk and Quicksand. They were well-known for their cover of Fleetwood Mac's "Go Your Own Way", which appeared in the movie Clerks.
On May 15, 2007, the band announced, via MySpace, that they had reformed and were writing a new album, tentatively titled Small Engine Repair. They also announced several live dates.
Great band. Kind of a shame they are not as well known as some of the other Washington bands.
