Been slowly catching up with my Saxon. Think Unleash is a belter and Lion Heart I spinned a few times. Great as well!! Indeed a vastly underrated band. Great track Sox.

^^It was a pleasure to "reintroduce" you to Biff and the lads Mighty Ent.:D

Speaking of Saxon, I can pick up quite a few of their albums at the flea market, Terry's vinyl is usually really good so I might get a couple next time I'm there. I didn't have them at the top of my list because for some reason they are still available new from a couple online vinyl shops, well their early albums before CD's came out the later albums are impossible to find on vinyl.

Saxon to me has aged like a fine Cabernet Sauvingnon.

Great band, I kind of drifted in and out with Saxon, liked them years ago and then left them for a while, I have quite a few on my wish list but have been buying so many different albums, they have taken a back seat for now, I will resume, Unleash The Beast will be my next I believe:cheers:

^^I have ALL of their albums..:D

And I bought my first Saxon vinyl record two weeks ago, "Crusader" it's in really good shape, haven't listened to it yet though. Hopefully this weekend I'll have time.

Huge fan, but I kind of lost interest when they put out Innocence Is No Excuse :/

...over the last couple of years I've been catching up on their more recent stuff (Metalhead onwards) and just bought Lionheart a couple of weeks ago..great album..amazing band \m/

They did wander off the Metal Highway for a couple years, trying to duplicate the success of other bands, but all it did was offend their original fan base.

But they made a complete comeback and I think their albums from "Dogs of War" to now are the best they've ever done. I do like their early work too.
