Im havin my pennies worth here!.....Brilliant band! first heard "See the light shining" back in 1980, been hooked ever since!...Do prefer the Graham Oliver era though!

Nice to see another Saxon fan in here Matty.
One of the all time great heavy metal bands in my humble opinion.
In fact I think I'll play a CD or two after dinner tonight.
Anyone who says they dont like at least one Saxon song obviously hasnt heard enough Saxon!

I listened to their whole discography and haven't found any song I disliked, even Destiny and Rock The Nations albums are good.

Even the mega cheesy "Sixth Form Girls" from Strong Arm rocks
^^Saxon is a great band Riff, and when you digest that one if you enjoy it make sure no matter what other album you get "Unleash the Beast" is one of them. It's probably my favorite of their entire discog...which is Massive.
Their most recent album was good, but the two before that were Smashing, better than anything Maiden or Priest has put out recently.

Wheels of Steel I have coming through the mail. Can't wait to listen to it, my first exposure to the band. Yes I know under a rock but is it not better late than never?

Great to see so many Saxon fans out there, they are still rocking and making great records, I will be looking out for any new shows near home this year as they were great at Download
