Sabbath Live?!

My all time favourite band, and still kicking hard after all these years.

I finally seen Black Sabbath live, December last year. And it was a phenomenal experience. I was just wondering if anyone else has seen them live, when, where and what did you think?

I saw them at the Roskilde Festival (in Denmark) in 1998. They played on the first day of the festival (Thursday) which was kindda odd, but also one hell of a way to kick off a great weekend. They were great, Ozzy sounded good and the crowd was excellent. It remains one of my favourite concerts ever.

I have only seen them twice. First time was 8-31-75 at Winterland in San Francisco, with Mahogany Rush opening!
The next time was on 9-28-78 in Spokane, Wa. with Van Halen opening!
Both shows were excellent. The SF show was "Sabotage" tour which was Mind Blowing!

Saw them live on their Reunion Tour December 10th 1999 in Holland and it was the best concert I saw!!

Never got round to seeing Sabbath, though I did see Ozzy in '80 or '81 just after he split from them, performing 'Blizzard of Ozz'. After the gig it wasn't so much Ozzy that everyone was talking about. It was a certain young guitarist - Randy Rhoads.

9-28-78 in Spokane, Wa. with Van Halen opening!

I saw them on that tour with Van Halen also. It was at the Cape Cod Coliseum 9-4-78. The tickets cost $7.50!
