Rush will capture the Clockwork Angels tour by filming in Phoenix and Dallas on Nov 25th and 28th respectively. Be a part of the show - get your tickets here for Phoenix or Dallas.

The shows are being filmed for an upcoming DVD set for release in 2013.

One band that I always pay attention to, they usually do a first class job on anything they release.

Would love to see a DVD of 2112, and Farewell to Kings...and throw in Hemispheres just for good measure.:D

I saw Rush in October at the ace new Barclays Center arena in Brooklyn, and I was perplexingly un-moved by the whole experience, even bored by the end. I have decided that I like Rush a lot, but I don't love them, and I probably won't go to see them again, they played a few new songs from the new album, but the rest of it was just a carbon copy of the other Rush shows I have seen. Their technical musicianship and wizardry is peerless, but for me nowadays that isn't enough, I have no clue what their dense philosophical lyrics mean, and you can't relate most of it to the actual human condition and life as we all experience it day to day. Their DVD's are always fun though as they are such hilarious guys, the extras on the disc are usually more interesting than the actual film of the show, so I will for sure buy it.

The last Rush show I saw was Roll the Bones and only went there because it was a birthday present from my sister who also went. It was boring and worse, the 'surround sound' crap they were experimenting with at the time and the endless stupid medleys were annoying. Now Rush has always done medleys, but to take a sing like Xanadu and medley it borders on unforgivable. If you can't play the whole song because of time constraints or whatnot just don't play it at all.

On top of that I loathed most of the Roll the Bones album so....

I want to hear the new one. I would go and see them if I even mildly like it but considering I haven't liked a new Rush album in a looong time that is highly doubtful.
