I'm going to be a contrarian. on this matter, and most of you know I am among the biggest Rush fans out there.

After seeing Ozzy being wheeled around for the final gig, I'd hope my favorite babd wouldn't sully their live product, which was among if not the best in Rock. Second, after you've have seen the Southpark anniversary event, and the other special appearances, I sadly have to say the rust and dust has accumulated too deep.

I prefer remembering how I saw them live in 1982.

First live performance? Starting out with a Rutsey track and working Anika into the harder Neil Peart stuff later?

Still, she kicks major a$$ here.

Been a fan of Rush since late 70's...didn't really listen to the first 3 lps....in college none of my friends played the early lps much...so I wasnt fully aware of them then. First heard 2112 in '76 when it came out...thought it was a decent heavy prog rock lp but not in my personal top tier of prog rock then....over time came to appreciate them more.
To be honest...I don't really have any interest in seeing two 72 yr old guys play their old tunes even with a new young drummer (42 years old). As far as her chops- she sounds good ,but let's be honest there are many talented drummers who could pull that off. But most already have their own band and gigs.
I play mostly Kings thru Pictures....dont bother with the others much anymore.
