The father of late heavy metal singer RONNIE JAMES DIO (BLACK SABBATH, HEAVEN & HELL, RAINBOW, ELF), Pat Padavona, 92, passed away peacefully on December 28th at Cortland Care Center in Cortland, New York. He served his country during World War II. He enjoyed working with his hands, making many pieces of fine furniture and accent pieces.
Pat is survived by his daughter-in-law, Wendy Dio-Padavona, his brother Johnny, his grandson Dan and wife Terri Padavona, and his great-grandchildren Joey and Julia Padavona. Pat was pre-deceased by his wife Anna and his son Ronnie. Pat Padavona was laid to rest at St. Mary?s Cemetery in Cortland.
