Riffs Top Ten Albums of 2011.

This will be highly metal centred as I haven't heard a lot of rock albums this year that really were awesome except maybe Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Anyway here is my top 10 albums of 2011.

1. Megadeth Th1rt3en
2. Opeth Heritage
3. The Treatment This Might Hurt ( favourite rock album of the year, one highlight for me in the hard rock area)
4. Arch Enemy Khaos Legions
5. Insomnium One For Sor
6. Dream Theater A Dramatic Turn of Events
7. Red Hot Chili Peppers I'm With You
8. Autopsy Macabre Eternal
9. Children of Bodom Relentless Reckless Forever
10. Machine Head Unto the Locust

Honourable mentions go to Deicide, Vader, Mastodon, Sepultura and a few others. Steel Panther would be 11.

I haven't figured out what mine is yet...listened to around 40 or so albums ( probably alot more ) from this year so far. I'll be back after a have atleast a bit of a clue

Recognize most bands on your list Riff. 2011 has been exceptional for me. Started off slowly but the last four months have been crazy. Probably the best year for me since...do I dare say...the mid '70s. Still another month to go and I'll post my favs.
