This is pretty much an unknown release and is currently out of print. You can still find some copies on Amazon and Ebay. I purchased the CD in 1995. The band lineup is listed below.

- vocalist Robin Kyle Basauri
- guitar shredder Chris Howell
- bassist Greg Chaisson (from Badlands)
- drummer Jeff Martin (from Badlands)

Soul Shaker

Wolves At The Door

Dust To Dust

Not sure if this belongs in the metal or rock section...

I'm listening to some of their youtube stuff right now .Cool band , I like them
kinda like Coverdale era Purple with a bit of a 80's metal ( not hair:rolleyes: )
edge to them.

All they need is a B6 Hammond :D

I had this on mp3 once a long time ago...but lost it over the years. Anyways, I remember one track called Hellbound Train that had a cool intro I really liked. If I remember it was a Christian rock band or arose from the ashes of one or some such.

I'm definitely gonna down load this and give it a good listening to through my different players .If I really like it the way I think I will, I will try to buy it.

I don't mind Christian bands so long as they rock ( Trouble , Tyrant etc. ) but very very few suit my taste sonically .

^^Magic has gotten me over disregarding any band with the "Christian" label a long time ago. Sometimes I am really surprised after listening that they are classified with that tag. As long as the music is good, I will give them a fair hearing.

I own over 2,000 CDs, and about 1,300 are of the Christian genre. I think it would be a shame to ignore good music just because the band expresses personal beliefs. A lot of progressive bands do this regularly. Take Rush for instance. Their 2112 and A Farewell To Kings albums are heavily laced with personal religious beliefs. It's not Christian, but that doesn't matter to me...both albums are works of art.

I was quite surprised to find a thread on these guys; a great bluesy hard rock band formed from the ashes of Badlands (And of course, Jeff Martin is a legend in my eyes just for his vocal work with Racer X)! They had a quality singer in Rob Basauri (His vocals appear on a few tracks on Joshua's Surrender, too), shame they never really did anything aside from the one album. Stylistically, I suppose one could see Blood as the spiritual successor of Voodoo Highway.
