I'm glad you enjoyed it! :)
As for your song, well, it's not my cup of tea, but I guess it really fits the 40ies... but his voice, of my god, I can't stand it. Did he eat a toy trumpet? ^__^' 5,5/10

Back then, this one probably wasn't good enough to be a true hit. However, it's still better than most of the crap you hear on the radio today. 6.5/10

Here's another little-known 80s song:

Mistral's song is good... the singer reminds me of Fleetwood Mac in a way, quite catchy 7/10.

oh! Curved Air! I think they are one of the most underrated bands ever. They deserve to be more famous. Their songs are so beautiful. And this one too! I mean, her voice, the violin, the flute, the guitar everything is so good! 9/10

This was another new one for me, thoroughly enjoyed it... like a dark José Gonzalez!

This guy passed a while back... got a good provenance.

Vocals are okay with a singing style reminiscent of those singer/songwriters like Dylan that started the genre. All in all, a good folk song that sounds pleasant to the ears. 7/10

Got that Bruce Hornsby vibe going on, the shenanigans of certain Eagles members leaves a lot to be desired, having said that a well crafted song.
8/10.
A newish song that's been on repeat at my abode.
