Question about an old song

Hi folks,
There was a song in late 60's or early seventies that started out
with the sound of channels being changed on an old analog car radio.
you could hear snips of songs and then it would pass the title song, go
on another song or two and then retune to the song in question.

It was as if the person found the song they wanted to hear and tuned
back to it.

I have always thought that the song was "Rock and Roll" by Led Zeppelin
but I just bought a vinyl copy of Led Zeppelin 4 dated 1971 and it doesn't
play that way.

Does anyone out there have a recollection of what I am talking about.
Would like to buy the album because it brings back fond memories.

Thanks for any help that you can offer!

I am sure the song is off the Ten Years After record "A Space in Time".

Thanks so much for the quick getback guys!
The one I was thinking of is the ten years after tune.
I'll be looking for that on eBay when I hang up here.

I have not had a record player in years and my wife just gave me one
that records cd's from vinyl and plays the albums also.

I dusted off a box of lps and have been listening to Big Brother and the Holding Company.

Thanks again so much for your help!

That is a great album. Perhaps their most famous song ever is also on A Space in Time.

It took a while for the whole album to grow on me but I listen to it quite a bit these days.
