I saw that earlier. Was wondering where the Freddie tribute was that Tray spoke of. Makes sense though Labor Day is a federal holiday here but Queen is one of the UK's biggest music exports.

Ah things make more sense now then. One of my friends was telling me yesterday on Bacefook to go look at Google for the tribute to Freddie and I couldn't see it (I just assumed I was doing something wrong) but she is from Canada so that would explain why she could see it and I couldn't.

Well, it's not all over the world... I've checked a few different google home pages, including the default Google and the only place I've seen it is the Japan link in the first post and that was this morning, by this afternoon, it was gone.

The default/normal page simply has a flag on it since today is labor day.

I saw it on the Google US page on Sunday. I remember my husband pulled up Google on his phone and him saying, "Hey, check this out. Is this what I think it is?"

Was, of course, on in the UK ... after all, he was our REAL Queen.
