I give it a *6* for Good. I love Derek Sherinian's keyboard work but this album seems to me to be just a continuation of their previous music....

I give it a 6 also Magic. More leaning to the jazz fusion side than thier previous albums. Alan Holdsworth plays on two tracks with one of them only two songs that stand out for me. Uninspired and hallway through the album it starts to get boring. Sherinian's keyboards are good. Drummer Virgil Donati has to be one of the most overrated drummers IMO. Not impressed with his drumming or the sound of his kit. For fans of instrumental prog/metal and jazz fusion.

Never heard that record before, and after reading your synopsis and Magic's I think I'll pass. I do like Alan Holdsworth though, he is a very talented guitarist.

LG, I have to admit Quantum failed to have any "wow" factor, a rather boring album.....
